iFeeling at Home, Away from Home, at the Spring View Women's Center
From the moment you walk into the Spring View Hospital Women's Center, you'll know we've taken great care to make you and your family feel right at home. Finding out that you’re having a baby can be filled with a range of emotions. You may wonder what comes next. Have peace of mind that we’re here for you along your journey and offer a wide variety of prenatal and postnatal care options.
The Spring View Women's Center is fully equipped to provide the birthing method you prefer. Our Labor/ Delivery/ Recovery/ Postpartum (LDRP) concept means you labor, deliver and recover all in one private, comfortable room.
Our nurses will be available to assist you and your newborn through labor, delivery and recovery. Special nurses are even placed in our nursery to monitor and aid your newborn. Our nursery is located in the Women's Center and close to all delivery rooms--close enough to keep mother, child, and family within minutes of each other. Most deliveries are normal, uncomplicated procedures, but advanced care is available should your newborn need it.
Because the comfort and safety of patients and newborns are important to us, our maternity units are locked with controlled access. As an additional level of comfort, both units are secured by the "HUGS" system, an electronic monitoring system that safeguards babies against the threat of abduction.

Childbirth is a normal, healthy, happy time that should include everyone in your family. Fathers or support persons are encouraged to take an active role from labor through postpartum care. We've even provided recliners and sofa sleepers so dad, family members, or friends can spend the night in the mother's room. We also encourage brothers, sisters, and grandparents to share in feeding and holding your newborn.
Our schedules allow you, your family, and friends to have the freedom to get to know your baby together. You set the pace for your day and we adjust our schedule to meet your needs.
Neonatal Transport Team available for transferring babies to Norton Children's Hospital via ambulance or helicopter.
